Cassettes, VHS Audio, Dictation Tapes (mini and micro cassettes)
We transfer, restore and remaster all of the above formats onto CD.

Tapes are transferred into a digital file at 24 bit resolution. Subsequent processing is at 32 bit resolution to give the highest quality results.

Automated and manual restoration processes are used to eliminate hum, hiss and background noise. The resulting restored audio is then transferred onto CD.

When placing your order, let us know if any noise reduction was used during the recording of your tapes, such as dolby.

IF YOU DO NOT REQUIRE ANY RESTORATION OF YOUR TAPE, WE CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH A STRAIGHT TAPE TO CD TRANSFER SERVICE AT A REDUCED COST.

Important recordings made on dictation tapes and cassettes, such as lectures, seminars and meetings can be enhanced to give much improved clarity of speech.

With music, it is possible to bring life into old recordings and demo tapes.

We have a wide variety of tools to enhance your restored audio:

• Using parametric and graphic equalisation, specific frequency bands (narrow or
wide) can be boosted or cut to greatly improve the tonal balance

• Reverb can liven up recordings that sound flat

• Stereo enhancement can make a mono recording into a stereo image

• Compression and limiting can make your tracks sound louder without clipping

• Pitch and tempo adjustments can be made
