File Conversions

Wave (.wav), MP3 (.mp3), Windows Media Audio (.wma), CD (.cda)
We make conversions between any of the above audio file formats.

wav files
• Sample rate range: 8000Hz-192000Hz
• Bit rate depth: 8 bit-32 bit

MP3 files
Files can be supplied as either CBR encoded or VBR encoded. VBR encoded files are generally smaller, but some MP3 players do not
support this type of encoding.

For CBR encoded files, please specify compression rate. These range from 48 Kbps (poor quality) to 320 Kbps (high quality).

wma files
Please specify compression rate. These range from 32 Kbps (poor quality, small file) to 320 Kbps (high quality, larger file).

Typically, a 4 minute audio CD track (41 Mb), when compressed, will produce a file of 974 Kb at 32 Kbps and 9.5 Mb at 320 Kbps.
